Global Chamber Launched in Salt Lake City

Posted by: Global Chamber Salt Lake City on Thursday, November 20, 2014

With two successful events focused on introducing Utah companies to resources that support their growth, the Global Chamber Salt Lake City launched November 18-19.

The main event on the 19th was a morning session with a delegation of experts down from Toronto who explained the opportunity for companies to be listed and therefore gain funding via the Toronto Stock Exchange and TMX Group. Two panels explained the process and then Michael Salter, CEO of Medical Facilities based in Scottsdale, Arizona, went through the experience his company has had with the process. Thank you to all who came and learned more.

The public event was followed by 'speed networking' roundtables with the experts for a group of companies that are closer to taking advantage of the funding opportunity.

On the evening before, several dozen regional leaders gathered at the Alta Club to share global business experiences and to network prior to the event.

Hello Salt Lake, and hello world! When ten times more Utah companies are engaged in global business, the state and the world will be even better. We're looking forward to doing our part to fill in a few gaps for our members.

Global Chamber is growing to 525 metro areas to help member companies grow from one metro to the next, and everywhere in the world.
