Global Cybersecurity: Trends, Threats and Opportunities

Posted by: Doug Bruhnke, Global Chamber on Wednesday, August 2, 2017

Given today's confluence of global affairs, regional technology and innovation... cybersecurity is top-of-mind for many businesses and governments, especially those who have already been impacted by cyber crime. And so last week Global Chamber® held a special event featuring experts in the area for members to learn more and reduce the chance for future issues.

The multi-metro event was held by Global Chamber® San Diego and Global Chamber® Nashville with moderator Kuntal Warwick, Global Chamber® San Diego. The discussion focused on the evolution of cybersecurity technology in the current global and political context, new trends/solutions, and industry opportunities regionally and around the world.

Featured speakers:

Brent Beverly, Sr. Director of Infrastructure Services, ScaleMatrix -- Introduction, cyber and global data management issues

Andreas Freund, Sr. Manager, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. -- Technology development and cyber integration; South Asia perspective

Wade Barker, CEO, The Tisdale Group (Nashville, TN) -- counter-terrorism technology; Middle East perspective
