Trade Missions by Global Chamber for Our Members

Posted by: Doug Bruhnke and Henry Ines on Thursday, November 16, 2017

Global Chamber® is pleased to partner with USTDA (U.S. Trade and Development Agency) on a continuous stream of 'reverse trade missions' that expose U.S. exporters to new business opportunities in countries around the world.

Many of the opportunities are in infrastructure, power gen and industrial. Usually visitors from around the world come to metro areas around the U.S. to meet with local companies about opportunities in their country.

Last month Global Chamber® San Francisco successfully hosted senior delegates from Vietnam Electricity National Power Transmission (EVNNPT) to share with Global Chamber® members the latest opportunities in Vietnam.

The event was held at member Squire Patton Boggs in San Francisco.

Local members and Bay Area executives attended the event to learn, network and identify potential new business opportunities in support of Vietnam's Power Transmission modernization plans.

EVNNPT and Silicon Valley-based Autogrid gave presentations. Additionally, Henry Ines, Executive Director of Global Chamber® San Francisco, David Ross of USTDA and Kevin Levey, partner of Squire Patton Boggs in Washington D.C., provided commentary and remarks.

The event concluded with a lively and productive networking reception. It was a wonderful and insightful evening with new business relationships established. Thanks again to Squire Patton Boggs for hosting the event!

Upcoming reverse trade missions include events on power generation, heavy duty trucks and more. Information can be found by staying in touch with Global Chamber®... contact us.
