Important Update on NAFTA and USMCA for the US, Canada and Mexico

Posted by: Doug Bruhnke - Global Chamber on Thursday, October 17, 2019

We spoke with two preeminent experts for this important update on NAFTA and USMCA.

Will USMCA happen, and when? What are the impacts? Watch the complete discussion HERE.

We first heard from the U.S.'s definitive voice on USMCA and trade, Dan Ujczo of Dickinson Wright.

Dan discussed his analysis of the latest information and likely outcomes with the New NAFTA, USMCA... with focus on the US and Canada. He is SO GOOD at boiling a complex topic down to the essential 'need to knows'.

We also heard from David Farca of International Business Group with information and focus on US-Mexico. David's unique perspective of actively working across borders adds to his real-world expertise and valuable perspective.

Each speaker was optimistic about the eventual passage of USMCA, although the specific timing is difficult to predict given the political dynamics.
