Today the leadership team of Global Chamber® Baltimore/Washington met with the Thunderbird School of Global Management team at Arizona State University’s Washington DC building.
We learned about the new Executive Master of Arts in Global Affairs & Management (EMAGAM), a groundbreaking global program launching in January, 2020. Watch for more information here.
Today’s global business environment, where revolutions and disruptions in technology are rapidly changing the world, requires different types of business leaders both in private and public sectors.
"New technology such as block-chain, artificial intelligence and generic engineering are fusing the physical, biological and digital worlds, fundamentally altering the way we live and work and relate to one another. In this new paradigm, organizations need a different type of leader... an agile and resilient professional equipped with a digital global mindset, cross-cultural intelligence and trans-disciplinary skills to drive innovation and success in this era of rapid change."
Global Chamber® has been inspired from day one by Thunderbird and how the school prepares the global tribe for doing business around the world. In a complimentary way, we are an organization with the unique mission of promoting cross-border commerce by providing warm connections, resources and education to its members in over 525 metros... everywhere! We envision that this new program by Thunderbird will provide a rare opportunity for members looking to take the next leap in their global management skills in the era of the 4th revolution. Facilitating that, Thunderbird offers substantial scholarships to members of the Global Chamber®.
In addition, Global Chamber® and Thunderbird agree to pursue further collaborations including hosting joint events in the Thunderbird DC location, providing more opportunities for globally-minded executives to learn from each other and succeed in this rapidly changing world.
The Thunderbird School of Global Management is the world’s premier leadership and management school being ranked No.1 for its Master’s in Management by the Times Higher Education/Wall Street Journal, 2019.
