Speaker Bio

Nathaniel (Nate) Richards - Sales Director, Alternative Investments at Vistra Group. Based in Vistra’s Boston office, Nate is responsible for business development efforts supporting both International Expansion and Alternative Investments solutions. Nate works across multiple client profiles including private equity, venture capital, real estate firms as well as corporate structures.

Having joined the organization in 2013 Nate focuses on aligning Vistra services across the private investment value chain; this includes developing custom solutions that connect investor, fund manager and portfolio company operational requirements.   

Nate has over 15 years of business development experience in both large well-established organizations as well as startup organizations. Nate started his career at State Street helping build a new fund services offering focused on alternative investments, and then moved on to develop performance and benchmarking techniques for private funds as part of AARM (Alternative Asset Risk Management). Most recently, Nate worked on helping corporate clients manage their international growth objectives at Radius prior to its acquisition by Vistra.

Nate earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Bates College in Maine and currently lives in the Boston area. In his spare time, Nate enjoys being active including trail running, hiking, biking and rock climbing as well as coaching high school hockey in the winter.
