How is our metro region doing with international business? That's the question we answer with our International State of the Metro, held in metro regions around the world.
Fortunately many metro areas are HOT, meaning that companies are thriving, growing and arriving. Some are NOT, and Phoenix was not when we started all this. Now Metro Phoenix is HOT, HOT, HOT... and growth is regional including the cities of Phoenix, Scottsdale, Surprise, Peoria and more.
At International State of the Metro events, we don't just talk about international business over wine and cheese, we grade it and put a report card together. And we connect the global tribe to new global leaders, information and opportunities. Let's do this!
This year for metro Phoenix we were pleased to have Rob Millar of City of Scottsdale, Director of Economic Development. This is a torch passed year-to-year, with continuous grading on key topics including exporting, tourism, foreign direct investment and more. See below.
For the ISOM 2020 event that happened this week, special thanks to sponsors Cresa, Spencer Fane, Harvard Group International and Bank of America. Thank you all... and to all our attendees!
Photos below and the report card. For the PHX global tribe, what do you think? And for the global tribe worldwide, let's work together to extend this program to every metro.
