Doug Bruhnke - Founder/CEO of Global Chamber®. Doug is an international entrepreneur dedicated to helping members of Global Chamber® reach new markets across metros and borders more successfully. He is a two-time expat with Dupont in Tokyo and Singapore with over 30 years of global business experience in nearly all countries and segments. Doug is a regional advisor for U.S. Global Leadership Coalition and a member of collaborating international groups including the Arizona District Export Council. He has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from University of Utah, an EMBA from Michigan State University and 5 patents. Doug was born in Mt. Kisco, New York and now lives in the metro regions of Phoenix and San Francisco. More on Global Chamber®.
René Van Baardewijk - President at Rebain International; Thunderbird Graduate. René is one of the two founders of the Rebain Group which officially started in Auckland(New Zealand) 1998. From there on the Rebain group expanded to different locations around the world. From his own office in Spain (Barcelona) and by regular visits in Holland René is actively involved in the management of Rebain Netherlands.
Stephen Andert - Thunderbird Graduate. Stephen has been engaged in a variety of leading-edge IT technologies including 20 as a Database Adminstrator. He has spent years building relationships as a Subject Matter Expert around the world. Since he is fluent in Spanish, he was the teams "go to guy" for customer visits and educational sessions in Latin America. He finished his OMGM at Thunderbird this May and is looking for ways he can help his current employer expand their sales in Latin America. He is in the process of building several communities online, one technical and one business-related to encourage and support businesses that want to grow in their Latin American operations. His book Surviving Business Travel is being released June 30th.
Indira Jeffrey - Program Manager for LatAm at Thunderbird School of Global Management. Indira Jeffrey possess a career and academic studies that have spanned the US, Mexico, Latin America and Europe. A Banking and Finance Professional and passionate Entrepreneur, she has launched two successful start-ups (a third in the concept phase), focused on Economic Development serving non-profits, start-ups, SBO’s, and government entities. Currently, Indira serves as Manager for Thunderbird for Good, she oversees the implementation of Thunderbird’s commitments to DreamBuilder, an online entrepreneurship training program for women entrepreneurs. Her responsibilities include, but are not limited to: managing the relationship with the clients, managing relationships with partner organizations, processing all reporting and payments, managing external vendors, working with technology vendor on program development, and promotion of the program. Indira has a solid 16 years career in banking and finance with Fortune 500 companies (Charles Schwab, JP Morgan Chase, and HSBC), she held several roles ensuring compliance with department policies, procedures, objectives and strategies, as well as adherence to applicable State Federal and US Regulations including OFAC, FDIC and the Bank Secrecy Act. Indira’s two start-ups in Economic Development, serve corporate, non-profit, start-up, SBO’s and entrepreneurial clients across a spectrum of industries such as Education, Food & Beverage, and Aerospace. She was the founder of iGlobal Business Consulting, LLC, and Partner with EKATAR, USA, LLC she manages marketing campaigns and social media, develops promotional collateral, and monitors, tracks and supervises website activity. The second start-up, launched before her banking career, was Crafted Products Mexicanos SA, where she helped 200 women entrepreneurs, SBO’s and startups in management, accounting, business incorporation, budget, forecasting, and marketing. Indira has been a Global Chamber member since 2015 and since 2017 she is the Deputy Director for the Global Chamber Guanajuato, in Guanajuato, Mexico.
