This important discussion on working across borders also featured Monique Daigneault, Executive Coach at MD Consulting. Monique is a world-class business coach, working with executives to help them reach the next level.
Kyle Hegarty kicked things off and discussed global leadership from an expat's perspective, having lived in Singapore for 15 years. One of the more compelling points in the discuss was Kyle sharing personality mapping for people of different cultures. He snowed that Americans in particular typically have some counter intuitive leadership styles contracts, a so-called 'zigging and zagging' culture style.

Monique Daigneault shared insights from here executive coaching with leaders worldwide and doing business everywhere. She shared ways for executives to build their leadership capabilities as they work on the job.
Finally Gary Covert shared some of the key questions and approaches by executives to make as they get their hands around an effective leadership style across borders. He stressed process and adaptability. One example Gary used was how nemawashii and related techniques are used in Japanese business to enable teams to get to root issues and align and improve performance.
