Recap of Blockchain Life Forum 2020 in Moscow

Global Chamber® has been pleased to partner with Blockchain Life for several years. Blockchain Life Forum 2020 was held October 21-22, 2020 in Moscow, Russia and despite the COVID-19 realities and closed borders, the Forum was attended by over 3000 participants.

Global industry leaders, entrepreneurs, investors and startups came together to discuss current trends and determine the development of the industry for the coming years. 

At the forum, contracts were signed between companies, investors and funds. Speakers included:

Anatoly Aksakov, the head of the Russian parliament for finance, predicted the beginning of the digital ruble testing. The Russian government is preparing to launch tests as early as next year.

At the forum, particular attention was paid to the section on blockchain implementation. Many speakers told the guests how to monetize the blockchain; analyzed the real cases of blockchain implementation in business and the public sector in 2020; revealed the insides of new projects implemented in Russia and other countries.

The third central topic that aroused particular interest among the participants was the section “All about DeFi. Decentralized Finance. How to earn on DeFi?" Experts spoke about trends, prospects and new motivational models in DeFi; gave legal advice to the attendees of the Forum and explained what to do in DeFi projects so as not to end up like an ICO; shared up-to-date insights on the ways of earnings and much more.

A new element of the forum was networking in the form of quick acquaintances. Each guest of Blockchain Life 2020 had an opportunity to find more than 30 new useful contacts in 30 minutes. Informal networking and agreements continued at the Grand AfterParty of Blockchain Life 2020 at the best Moscow club. Incendiary dance and light shows and live music performances of Russian famous bands were the highlight of the program.

There were 70 exhibitors that included the world's leading crypto exchanges, manufacturers and suppliers of mining equipment, innovative startups, agencies and various services.
