Igor Novikov started by highlighting the importance of addressing uncomfortable questions and the role of truth in shaping personal identity. He shared insights from his experience, including his initial five-hour meeting with President Zelensky before his presidential campaign, where they discussed technology and global issues, and reflected on his political involvement following Zelensky's election.
Analyzing the ongoing Ukraine-Russia conflict, Igor characterized it as a war of attrition, noting Russia's current advantage due to its resources and foreign support. He expressed concern that delays in military aid to Ukraine have undermined Ukraine's initial successes. He predicted that the war might conclude in a draw, emphasizing that Ukraine's future stability will heavily depend on Western support and security guarantees to prevent further Russian aggression. He underscored the necessity of rebuilding efforts to ensure Ukraine's integration into the Western sphere.
Transitioning to his personal journey, Igor discussed his shift from a corporate professional to a digital creator amid the war. He highlighted the rapid pace of technological change and the need for individuals to adapt, particularly regarding the influence of AI on children's development. He raised alarms about misinformation and the potential resurgence of conspiracy theories, advocating for basic education to combat these issues and prepare future generations for the challenges posed by emerging technologies.
In concluding remarks, Igor addressed the safety of business travel to Ukraine, asserting that it is largely safe, especially in cities like Kiev and Lviv, while cautioning about missile and drone threats. He encouraged travelers to stay informed through real-time updates and offered personal assistance for those planning to visit. Additionally, he shared his vision of what victory for Ukraine would entail, emphasizing the urgency of ending the conflict and securing rebuilding guarantees.
