Allison Ferch is Executive Director at the Globalization and Localization Association (GALA). She leads a small talented team that delivers programs and resources for professionals in the language services and technologies industry. In her 15 years with the organization, Allison has shaped GALA into a trusted resource for thousands and built a powerful professional community known for its inclusivity, generosity, and acuity. She is a consummate people-person respected for being a keen facilitator and team builder, as well as for her skill in transforming operations and programs.

Maria has been an active leader in Global Chamber® Denver for over five years, serving as a member of the Advisory Board and the leader of the Women’s Council. She originated Global Dining and Global Women On-line Network, both of which have grown from Denver to fully global recurring member events. In 2019 she was the recipient of the Champion of the Year award from Global Chamber® Denver. She is a past Executive Director for the chapter.
She has over 25 years of business experience which range from the launch of mobile phone operations in South American countries, to establishing her own multinational marketing and advertising agency which provided major clients (Comcast, Cisco, Ericsson, Coors, Starz Entertainment, City of Denver and State of Colorado) with strategies and execution in reaching target markets in Hispanic, African-American and Asian communities.
Maria is the Principal and Co-founder of the DEI Leadership Institute (www.leaddei.com), an organization that develops, certifies and supports leaders who do the work of bringing about greater levels of equity in America. Maria has developed leaders in global international studies programs and supported the career growth of minority candidates in teaching, social services and administrative leadership. Maria has also built a strong network in the business community and partnerships with not for profit and social service organizations. She is fully bilingual and multicultural. Maria is a frequent conference speaker and has served on multiple boards.
Ricardo Gambetta

Ricardo is a dynamic and results oriented professional with proven leadership and policy experiences in municipal, state, and the federal government.
He has a strong executive experience in public and non-profit sectors. As a naturalized citizen himself, immigrant integration and international relations are Ricardo's passions.
In addition, Ricardo is an experienced consultant, presenter, and trainer for several national and international organizations such as the Council of Europe, Council of European Municipalities and Regions, Strong Cities Network, International Metropolis Conference, Strasbourg Club, Institute of Politics at Harvard University, Danish National Police Academy, White House Task Force on New Americans, Offices of the First Ladies of Mexico, Honduras and Guatemala, Institute of Mexicans Abroad, Technical University of El Salvador, Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, Congress of Cities, Welcoming America, Cities for Action National Summit and the Sister Cities International Conference. Author of more than 25 reports and publications in the field of immigrant integration and international programs.

Barry manages External Affairs at Denver International Airport (DEN), where he builds and maintains strong relationships with community leaders, industry stakeholders, and government entities. His role focuses on aligning DEN's strategic priorities with the needs of our partners to ensure the airport continues to be a global leader in efficiency, innovation, and connectivity. Before joining DEN, Barry served with the Denver Mayor’s Office, where he played a pivotal role in securing and managing federal investment projects worth millions, helping to elevate Denver's infrastructure and community programs.
He hold a Master of Business Administration from the University of Denver and a bachelor’s degree in political science (Pre-Law) from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. His leadership and contributions to public affairs have been recognized with accolades such as the Sewald Hanfling Public Affairs Who’s Next: Politics Award and the Denver Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Award.
Casey Moher

Casey Moher serves as the Executive Director of the Denver Council on Foreign Relations and as a Manager at Lantz Law Group. Dedicated to building a vibrant and diverse community in Denver, she works to deepen public understanding of international affairs and foreign policy. With five years of leadership experience in information technology (IT), Casey specializes in helping organizations enhance technological efficiency and internal policies.
She holds a Master’s degree in Security Studies from Georgetown University and graduated with honors in Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder. In her free time, Casey enjoys camping, reading, and cheering on the Denver Broncos.

Eric D. Nelson, Ph.D., is a multifaceted entrepreneur, author, minister, certified family mediator, psychotherapist, and life visionary with deep roots in the Denver and Aurora, Colorado communities. As a small business owner, Dr. Nelson leads an insurance company and investment firm, bringing over 20 years of progressive leadership experience in operations, sales, marketing, customer service, human resources, and P&L management. Known for his integrity and solid business acumen, he has earned the trust of customers, peers, and employees alike.
A native of Georgia and a United States Air Force veteran, Dr. Nelson has dedicated over two decades to community and political organizing in Aurora. He has also served as a public official and as an Adjunct Faculty Member at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. Committed to service, he actively participates on various community boards and commissions.
Dr. Nelson is the driving force behind Empowering Community Solutions, Inc., an organization devoted to breaking cycles of poverty and hunger through innovative educational programs, mentorship, scholarships, and advocacy for social justice. The organization’s vision is to create a world where every individual has access to quality education, essential resources, and equitable opportunities—fostering empowered communities that thrive in diversity and justice.
He is a devoted family man, married with three children and seven grandchildren. In his free time, Dr. Nelson enjoys engaging in various sports and watching action, drama, and horror films.
