Speaker Biographies

Kirsty Wilkinson - Director at Asia Market Makers -  Kirsty is a committed and solution focused export and marketing specialist with proven background providing exceptional customer service and ongoing business support. Proven ability to establish and maintain a strong rapport with clients, colleagues and professionals. Supply chain, finance, project management, marketing, sales, customer service and public relations experience, giving high priority to client satisfaction and loyalty at all times. Kirsty set up Asia Market Makers after being approached be a former colleague who had a friend interested in exporting wine to Japan. She presented them at a trade show in Tokyo, organising information about their winery and tasting notes to be translated into Japanese. Kirsty realised at the trade show that there was a great need for someone with her experience and knowledge. Kirsty decided to set up Asia Market Makers to help businesses wanting to export to Japan, teach Japanese language and culture and empower translators and interpreters with the right skill set for their businesses to flourish. Following graduation, Kirsty worked for a number of global companies in Melbourne and London, UK in supply chain, marketing, sales and project management across numerous industries. Kirsty’s real passion is helping businesses in the wine industry after working for a global wine company in London.

 

Indira Jeffrey - Founder of iGlobal Business Consulting - As an International Business Consultant Indira has consulted clients in USA, Mexico, Latin America, and Europe. In 1997 she launched her career on the Finance industry, in 2002 she transitioned to the consulting arena working for the Economic Development Area, managing sustainable projects for the state of Guanajuato, Mexico.
In 2003 Indira moved to the USA where she added to her background 13 years of Finance and Banking experience, in 2015 she funded iGlobal Business Consulting, LLC. As a Consultant she draws upon her vast and varied experience managing projects for companies, entrepreneurs and non-profits in the areas of Global Operations, Funding, Education, Food & Beverage Industry, and aerospace Industry. Indira is passionate about small business development, entrepreneurship and cross-cultural communication. Indira holds a Global MBA ("Master of Global Management") and a Bachelor’s in International Business. She speaks English, Spanish and French.

 

Phil DisantPhil Disant - Co-founder at eXport Gateways - Phil is a  professional specialist with consulting experience in International Business Development and Global Account Management since 1989. His areas of expertise include Innovative Building Materials, Decoration, Information Technologies, Cosmetics, Wines and Spirits. With eXport Gateways, he and his team are specializing in  Export Outsourcing, Consulting Services and Support to Small Sized Companies/Artisans in their export business projects and B2C distribution (e-commerce) in North America and European Union. At the same time, they work with Sourcing, Import Trade and Distribution of Organic Products (Cosmetics, Jewelry, Food) / Craft Decoration Items / Wines and Spirits.

 

Abdelhak Benkerroum (阿道), MSc, MBAAbdelhak Benkerroum - Founder and Director of Eastheimer Training and Consulting - Abdel is the author of the book “We Have A Deal”, a visiting professor at EMLYON and East China Normal University, the Founder & Director of Eastheimer Training and Consulting, and Global Advisor to the Global Chamber Shanghai. He is based in Shanghai, China and serve clients across the globe. During his career in supply chain and international trade, Abdel coached business development teams, led complex legal negotiations, aligned executives, built account management teams across various regions, drove service improvements at different branch offices, and established operational processes in several branch offices in Europe, Middle-East, Africa, and India Region. He is native speaker of English, French, Arabic, and Berber, and has a good understanding of Spanish and Chinese. A graduate of Texas A&M University with a Masters in International Business, and of Marseille School of Business (KEDGE) with a Masters degree in Corporate Strategy. Also a former scholar of Confucius Institute at University of Dubai.

 

Habib Amine Benabdallah - Convenience Retail Manager at Vivo Energy. Habib is an MBA graduate from thunderbird University, 2003. He has started his career as Marketing Manager at a rent-to-own chain (Rent- a-center) then worked for Shell in various roles and geographies. First in Morocco as convenience retail manager, then Customer center Manager for Europe in Rotterdam. Following that, he worked in re-imaging/re-positioning projects for Shell lubricants in middle-East and Central Asia out of Dubai. His current role is in Casablanca as Alliance manager for the 1800+ Shell-branded sites in Africa.
