We welcome Hungarian Ambassador László Szabó to the Dallas metropolitan area on November 20th. Our program is coordinated by Dallas County Community College, Workforce and Economic Development. The event is a part of Entrepreneurship Week 2019.

The office of Global Economic Development at the Dallas County Community College District bridges workforce and educational partnerships between Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and international business communities. The office works closely with local and international players to facilitate trade, foreign direct investment and workforce development.
Ambassador Szabó talk at El Centro is part of Success!, a new pop-up lecture series featuring talks between leading industry experts and students studying marketing and entrepreneurship.
Dr. László Szabó was appointed Ambassador of Hungary to the United States on July 28, 2017.
Ambassador Szabó previously served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade from 2014-2017.
Prior to public service, Ambassador Szabo worked for the pharmaceutical company Teva Hungary Ltd. In Budapest (2010-2014). Szabo also worked for the U.S. pharmaceutical company, Eli Lilly and Company for 16 years, where he held several positions including HR Director. In 1990, Ambassador Szabo graduated from Debrecent Medical University, Hungary with a doctorate in medicine.
