Achieving the Mayor's Goal of New Direct International Flights

In our last meeting with Mayor Gallego. At that time she emphasized the importance of direct international flights to the region, and she laid out the goal of having at least one direct international flight between Phoenix and Asia. There are none today!

We're pleased to present Christine Mackay, Director of Community and Economic Development, City of Phoenix, and Deborah Ostreicher, Assistant Aviation Director, City of Phoenix to speak at a special business event in the Japanese Friendship Garden. The event is focused on reviewing progress in support of Mayor Gallego's goal and creating a city and community collaboration to achieve success.

We'll also hear from Sanjeev Khagram, Director-General and Dean of Thunderbird School of Global Management. Thank you to Thunderbird for sponsoring the drinks.

Mexico's Phoenix Consul General will also be attending.. the Honorable Jorge Mendoza Yescas, along with business leaders from a variety of industries.

During the summer we hosted Mayor Gallego at Spencer Fane for the annual Welcome to Phoenix event, and one of the deliverables was to discuss how we can work together to achieve the goal. Business leaders can do their part in the effort. The purpose of this discussion is to rally the global tribe with the leaders at the city to align and get this done.

Special thanks to the Japanese Friendship Garden for hosting this event at Winship House, located to the right/south of the main gate. Join us after the talks to continue the discussion over Japanese food and beverages.

Members are free! Thank you for your support and collaboration! Let's grow in 2020!

Non-members... join us for US$25. Register above.
