Now & Next is the new name for our Testing Time webinar series and we are delighted to kick off the first of our autumn series with a View from Parliament.

Schools are restarting and many businesses are bringing their workforce back on a phased occupancy basis. The Brexit trade talks continue, but still seem deadlocked on some key issues. The international situation remains complex, with US elections looming and associated questions about China. The pandemic has exposed weaknesses in the international system, including in supply chains. Against that complex background, we will explore the politics behind the government’s plan for the recovery domestically, how Britain’s international role will evolve in 2021 and beyond, and what business should look forward to.

Hosted by international affairs advisor Matthew Kirk, we are delighted to be joined by Andrew Mitchell, MP for Royal Sutton Coldfield and formerly Government Chief Whip and Secretary of State for International Development.
