About Heidi Zak
Heidi Zak is the Co-Founder and CEO of ThirdLove, the 3rd largest online bra and underwear company in America. She is on a mission to get every single woman in a great-fitting, beautiful and comfortable bra that makes her feel confident. She believes inclusivity should be the norm, not the exception, and has led the charge, inventing half-cups and offering women more than 80 sizes. Zak left her job at Google with the dream of offering women a better option and marketing to them in a way that didn’t insult their intelligence or push impossible beauty standards. Seven years later, more than 17 million women of all shapes and sizes have used ThirdLove’s innovative Fit Finder™ to find a bra that truly fits her body. ThirdLove is proud to have donated over $30 million worth of bras to women in need.
Zak has been recognized as Fortune's 40 Under 40, EY Entrepreneur of the Year, National Retail Federation's Disruptors, Fast Company’s Most Creative People and Goldman Sachs' 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs. In addition to contributing a weekly column to Inc.com, Zak is committed to promoting and advancing more women in tech. She is an active angel investor in early-stage female-founded companies. She graduated from Duke University and holds an MBA from MIT Sloan. Prior to launching ThirdLove, Zak was at Google, Aeropostale, McKinsey and Bank of America. In her spare time you can find her working out, or chasing after her kids.
About Rachel West
Rachel leads the early-stage investment team as the Director of Business Development at RevTech Ventures, a venture capital firm that invests in concepts and enabling technologies that reinvent modern retail. There, she sources, evaluates, and executes early-stage investment opportunities and works with existing portfolio companies to help them grow.
Prior to RevTech, Rachel built deep technical, business, and product experience as a management consultant at Credera. She has demonstrated success consulting executives on Product Development, Digital Transformation, Customer Engagement, and eCommerce. In addition to client work, she jumpstarted and lead several retail startup partnerships to accelerate the growth of Fortune 500 clients. As the firm scaled to Chicago, NYC, and London, she launched a team to build and implement the national business development strategy for current and new market expansion.
Before Credera, Rachel served as a health policy analyst for a think-tank in D.C. to understand the drivers of policy formation and influence to the private sector. She also worked for a venture-backed, recruiting A.I. startup based in New York to help spearhead national hiring efforts across U.S. campuses.
Rachel uncovered her passion for startups through starting and scaling a nutrition program for kids in underserved areas across Texas in her formative years. Outside of work, Rachel is passionate about helping women overcome both professional and personal barriers. She serves as the Dallas Chapter Lead of the SoGal Foundation, the largest global platform for the education and empowerment of 100,000+ diverse entrepreneurs and investors.
