This passion led him to master eight languages, with fluency in French and proficiency in Japanese. His global curiosity has taken him to over 55 countries, where he’s lived in culturally diverse places like France, Japan, China, and Bophuthatswana in Southern Africa. His experiences allow him to view challenges through multiple lenses, both American and global, and to recognize the cultural nuances - like indirect communication - that shape world negotiations.

While the English market is large, the world market is far larger. And authors can expand their influence and their impact by getting their books, social media and websites translated and by obtaining potential speaking and consulting opportunities … even if they don’t know a country’s language. For almost 35 years, Philip’s company Auerbach International has been facilitating communications worldwide into 120 languages with A+ accuracy, precision and cultural adaptation. His presentation will present specific ways for authors to grow their global reach beyond their home markets.
