Global Chamber® New York City: Awakening the Global Giant in the City That Never Sleeps  - World Window - Virtual Meeting

Our growing chapter holds monthly in-person meetings. To accommodate NYC members who aren’t able to attend these sessions—or who prefer a virtual option—we’re also offering a monthly online session so members can stay connected and engaged with the dynamic activity happening in the chapter.

Virtual meetings also allow members to connect with global members, and vice versa, creating more opportunities to grow.

During this meeting we will review our last in-person meeting, discuss key initiatives planned in 2025 and how you can be actively involved in our chapter as we tap the business electricity of New York City for our Global trajectory. 

Online participants will share their experiences, update the group on their business, and communicate:

• What they need from GC.
• What they can provide to other members.
• What business opportunities are you aware of, sharing.

Our Executive Director NYC Susan Assadi and NYC member Natsuyo Lipschutz, Int'l Keynote Speaker will lead this event to continue our path for 2025 for the NYC Chapter: to connect high-performing CEOs and executives with opportunities to collaborate and grow their businesses globally.

Members will learn how this chapter can serve as a launchpad for national and multinational success.

Susan Gitenstein Assadi, Executive Director at Global Chamber® New York City

Susan leads GAPR, a PR firm with an emphasis on expert and thought leadership campaigns. She is a highly respected national media strategist who helps her clients to be promoted to the national media, weaving in compelling stories that resonate with top media outlets. Her campaigns have enabled her clients to have features and recurring citations in The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Reuters and Bloomberg.  As a result of her campaigns, her clients have been boosted into leaders of their respective fields. Susan has over four decades representing public and private companies in the financial services, corporate governance and the proxy industry, alternative energy, and those with an emphasis on responsible business practices such as ESG. Most recently she has been working with disruptors who are helping to build the domestic supply chain of rare earth materials.  Susan also has represented some leading non-profits. She also co-founded Safed House, a non-profit, that provides a welcoming place for refugees and recent immigrants to share their stories.

Her firm’s campaigns are fresh, creative, tech savvy, and innovative, a cocktail that engenders powerful results.

Prior to founding her own PR firm, Susan was the publicist for PBS MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour.   She received a Master's Degree in Fine Arts from New York University, and obtained a Bachelor's Degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.

Natsuyo Nobumoto Lipschutz, CSP, MBA - Cultural Diversity and Cross-Cultural Communication Strategist

Natsuyo Lipschutz is a Japanese-English bilingual keynote speaker and facilitator, and she works with global organizations that want to improve cultural diversity and have their leaders present, facilitate, and communicate effectively beyond differences.

TEDx speaker, 5-time Toastmasters international speech contest champion, US-Japan business strategy consultant, World Class SpeakingⓇ public speaking coach, and the first Japanese to receive the prestigious CSPⓇ designation from the National Speakers Association, Natsuyo Lipschutz shares compelling stories behind her cross-cultural communication strategies in her signature keynote.

Natsuyo is also the bestselling author of The Success Blueprint, which she co‐wrote with world‐renowned business speaker, Brian Tracy. She is also the author of 20Ji Ni Sogiotose (“Say It in 20 Words”) in Japanese, Korean, and Chinese, as well as Story Ni Otoshikome (“Motivate with Your Own Story”) in Japanese. 20Ji Ni Sogiotose was awarded “the top 10 business books of the year” in 2021. Her book in English, Uncover Your Message: The 3-Step Process for Presenting Your Ideas Effectively and Persuasively, Globally and Locally was published in the summer of 2024.

Natsuyo began her career at a top Japanese trading company, ITOCHU International in New York. Natsuyo then received her MBA from New York University and held a management consultant position at McKinsey & Company. Today, Natsuyo is the managing principal of her strategy consulting firm, ASPIRE Intelligence, as well as an executive consultant for Breakthrough Speaking, a global public speaking consultancy.

She also served as the first Asian board director at the National Speakers Association New York City chapter from 2021 to 2024, and a recipient of the 2023 NSANYC Member of the Year award. In 2024, she became the first Japanese to receive the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP®) designation from the National Speakers Association. She currently serves as a board member of the CSP Committee at the National Speakers Association.

Outside work, Natsuyo is a competitive ballroom Latin dance national finalist, a proud mother of a pre-teen daughter who’s a model and competitive figure skater, and a breast cancer survivor.
