Courtney Bickert - Senior Consultant at DRiWaterstone Human Capital: Experts in Nonprofit and Social Impact Executive Search

Courtney Bickert
is a global leader with over 30 years of experience in international development and foreign affairs. She has served in executive leadership positions in large international organizations and has led partnerships with government and multilateral agencies, corporations, foundations, and nonprofits.

Courtney’s leadership spans sectors including public health, economic inclusion, agriculture, water, human rights, and more in both developed and developing economies. She has built and managed over 20 global teams and raised over $100M for nonprofit organizations.

In addition to her professional achievements, Courtney is also a stand-up comic with training from Second City, DC Improv, London Comedy Institute, and The American Comedy Institute.

She holds an MBA/MPP from The University of Chicago.

 

Valentine Nzengung, PhD - Founder, CEO & CTO of MuniRem Environmental

Dr. Nzengung has extensive project development experience ranging from conception, design, monitoring, evaluation and analysis of environmental remediation systems.  He provides technical expertise and direction for environmental consulting projects.  He pioneered the development of multiple high-end environmental green sustainable remediation technologies that have been demonstrated as successful.

Dr. Nzengung graduated Cum Laude from Georgia State University with a degree in Geology. Subsequently he earned both his Ph.D. in Environmental Geochemistry and M.S. in Environmental Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, USA. Until 2023 he was Professor of Environmental Geochemistry at the University of Georgia.

Dr. Nzengung is widely published and has spoken at several global conferences and is active in a number of academic research projects in the field of environmental remediation.

He previously combined his academic work with running MuniRem Environmental but since late 2023 works full time at the company. He continues to research improved methods for the destruction of energetics and other contaminants. He is directly involved in the assessment and planning of our projects including frequently being on-site. In his role as CTO, he has addressed a variety of governmental agencies, including the congressional committee looking into alternatives to Open Burn/Open Detonation for destruction of munitions.

Jacob Deitz - Founder and CEO, Kilimo Collective
 
A connector at heart and a systems thinker by training, Jacob uses AI to weave together people, ideas, and global ecosystems. His work spans mental health innovation, social entrepreneurship, and community-led development. As a thought leader and mentor across multiple global networks—including the Global Mental Health Task Force and Catalyst Now—Jacob brings a refreshingly relational perspective to tech-enabled change.
