Keynote Speaker:

Ms. Terri L. Batch - President and CEO of Global LA

Terri L. Batch is the President & CEO of Global LA, a public-private partnership dedicated to positioning Los Angeles as a premier global hub for business, innovation, and international collaboration. Under her leadership, the organization has rebranded, rebuilt its board, and expanded its global reach—including landmark events in Paris and Tokyo to promote Los Angeles ahead of the 2024 Summer Olympics and MLB’s Tokyo Series.

Terri is also the Founder of Batch Global Strategies (BGS), a strategic advisory firm advancing inclusive trade and investment. With over 20 years of federal service at the U.S. Department of Commerce, she most recently led the Global Diversity Export Initiative (GDEI), championing international opportunities for minority-, women-, LGBTQ+-, and veteran-owned businesses.

Her career includes founding and leading key initiatives focused on global equity, including the Global China Team, the HBCU International Affairs Cluster, and B-BOLD, a pioneering employee resource group. She has earned numerous accolades, including awards from the Department of Commerce and recognition from the Los Angeles Business Journal and Los Angeles Times.

Terri holds degrees from Spelman College and USC, is fluent in Mandarin, and is certified in global logistics and business. She continues to champion inclusive economic growth in Los Angeles and beyond.
