As we reach the mid-point of a year filled with economic and trade-related uncertainty, GC BWI invites all members to a special Open Forum - a space to reconnect, share stories, and discuss the real-world challenges and opportunities SMEs are facing today.

This interactive meeting will include:

• Open Dialogue: Insights, challenges, and ideas from fellow members
• New Member Spotlight: A warm welcome and brief introduction to our newest Chamber members
• Strategic Direction: An Advisory Board Meeting (Advisory Board Members Only) following the forum to delve deeper into member needs and explore how the Chamber can better support  throughout the second half of the year.  

We believe that in times of “New Reality", collective knowledge and connections are among our greatest resources.

Doug Bruhnke - Founder/CEO at Global Chamber®

Doug is a global entrepreneur, speaker and author dedicated to helping members of Global Chamber® reach new markets across metros and borders more successfully. In addition we have the opportunity of attracting more leaders to global business, making our world a better place. He's the Founder/CEO of Global Chamber®, operating in 525 metros, 195 countries. He's had a career with DuPont that included expat assignments in Tokyo and Singapore.

Doug has a B.S. Chemical Engineering from University of Utah, with 5 chemical process patents. He also has an Executive MBA Michigan State with 38 years of exporting and global trade experience.

Frans Meuwissen - Managing Partner in Amplify Now Global

Frans Meuwissen is a Managing Partner in Amplify Now Global, a  Business Development Consultancy firm, specializing in assisting scale ups and start ups enter new geographic and vertical market segments.  Frans Meuwissen is a seasoned Business Development consultant, enabling clients to deeper understand customer requirements, buying preferences, price points, and support requirements.  The firm helps its clients with finding corner customers; adjusting go-to-market strategies based on new market insights; developing technical and commercial partnerships; and with executing the go-to-market strategy.  Frans represents companies in communications, deep-tech, MedTech, AgTech, cyber security and AI, amongst other tech verticals.

Chet Seto - Founder and Managing Director of CJSeto Support Services, LLC

Chet Seto is the founder and Managing Director of CJSeto Support Services, LLC, bringing over 35 years of experience in environmental, operations, program, and project management. He oversees corporate strategy, business development, and technical quality assurance, delivering environmental and health and safety services to government and private clients throughout California.

A first-generation Chinese American, Mr. Seto graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a BS in Oceanography and served as a Naval Aviator flying the P-3 Orion. He retired as a Navy Reserve Captain after 30 years of combined service. His civilian career includes roles in defense contracting, government environmental management, and hazardous materials oversight.

Founded in 1999, CJSeto reflects Mr. Seto’s core values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment—principles he strives to instill throughout the company. He is also deeply involved in community service, including leadership roles with the US Naval Academy Alumni Association, TEACH, Snowball Express, and Friends of Navy Squash, supporting veterans, foster children, and youth development.
