Join this event for a conversation with Dr. Fiona Hill, former senior director for European and Russian Affairs at the UN National Security Council and foreign policy expert. Dr Hill startled the nation and US allies during her testimony as a key witness in an impeachment trial about Russia's interference in the 2016 election. 

Dr. Hill is a dedicated public servant in international intelligence who served three United States Presidents, including President Obama and George W. Bush. She is currently the Robert Bosch Senior Fellow at the Center on the United States and Europe in the Foreign Policy program at the Brookings Institution.

In her extraordinary new book, There is Nothing for You Here, Fiona Hill details her story of leaving an economically devastated part of England, to emerge as an internationally renowned expert on Russia.

Her book is a compelling and stirring account of how she has woven her impoverished and working class background—and her improbable rise—into her understanding of the world. Dr. Hill uses this unique lens to cover Russia and her time at the White House while directing the Russia desk for the National Security Council.
