Sr Vice President with Bank of America Merrill Lynch 

Toby Armitage joined Merrill in 2002 and has over 28 years of financial industry experience. As a Private Wealth Advisor within Merrill Private Wealth Management, Toby is strategically minded, delivering the full scope of both Bank of America and Merrill capabilities. He works with private and public companies that are engaging in liquidity or acquisition events. In New Jersey, he utilizes a team of specialists representing Bank of America, Bank of America Private Bank, and Merrill, focusing on Private Banking, Business, Middle Market & Investment Banking. His core proficiency is designing comprehensive wealth management strategies. Incorporating Pre-Liquidity, Trust & Estate Planning considerations, his approach uniquely reflects the needs and priorities of ultra-high-net-worth executives. Toby incorporates both strategic and tactical components in his work, helping clients respond to changing economic conditions while grounding their investment outlook in market fundamentals. Prior to joining Merrill, Toby held tenures with J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank, Hambrecht & Quist and Cowen & Co. where he focused on Corporate Executive Services. While at Hambrecht & Quist, Toby Co-Founded and Headed the firm’s Investment Management Consulting Division which provided access to Third-Party Money Managers for the Retail and Institutional sales forces. Toby sits on the boards of Colorado Companies to Watch and Global Chamber New York. Additionally, Toby is a member of a Vistage CEO Group in New Jersey. He leverages his affiliation with these organizations to promote connectivity for New Jersey’s emerging growth companies, business leaders and economic development throughout the tri-state area.

Ling W. Chang

Founder/CEO at LedgerFunding

Ling W. Chang is Founder and CEO of LedgerFunding, Inc., a FinTech company that democratizes business access to and choice of working capital solutions on a funder-agnostic platform with Distributed Ledger Technology. 

A lifelong learner, she embarked on the entrepreneurial journey after serving as CEO of Stromasys, a leading processor emulation software company in Geneva, and held engineering, sales and leadership roles at HP Enterprise, CA Technologies, LexisNexis and IBM.

Susan leads GAPR, a PR firm with an emphasis on expert and thought leadership campaigns. She is a highly respected national media strategist who helps her clients to be promoted to the national media, weaving in compelling stories that resonate with top media outlets. Her campaigns have enabled her clients to have features and recurring citations in The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Reuters and Bloomberg.  As a result of her campaigns, her clients have been boosted into leaders of their respective fields. Susan has over four decades representing public and private companies in the financial services, corporate governance and the proxy industry, alternative energy, and those with an emphasis on responsible business practices such as ESG. Most recently she has been working with disruptors who are helping to build the domestic supply chain of rare earth materials.  Susan also has represented some leading non-profits. She also co-founded Safed House, a non-profit, that provides a welcoming place for refugees and recent immigrants to share their stories.

Her firm’s campaigns are fresh, creative, tech savvy, and innovative, a cocktail that engenders powerful results.

Prior to founding her own PR firm, Susan was the publicist for PBS MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour.   She received a Master's Degree in Fine Arts from New York University, and obtained a Bachelor's Degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri
