Jean Baptiste Déal - Founder, the Déal Negotiation Institute 

Jean Baptiste Déal founded the Déal Negotiation Institute with the primary mission of helping leaders and future leaders improve their negotiation skills so they can achieve their goals in an increasingly interconnected world — one where, beyond language barriers, people often find themselves disoriented with cultural barriers that seem insurmountable.

After an exceptional educational journey marked by language learning, exposure to diverse cultures, and the development of negotiation skills, he gained hands-on negotiation experience by working on international projects for more than 20 years. Through this journey, he has represented numerous interests, including those of both private and public actors, and negotiated on behalf of partners with varied profiles (buyers, sellers, investors) from very different backgrounds — primarily European, North American, and Asian, but also African and South American to a lesser extent.

Drawing on this background and experience, he developed comprehensive negotiation training programs designed to bring clarity, control, and influence to interactions between Asia and the West.

Jean Baptiste is the author of Winning With Ancient Wisdom: Negotiation Strategies From Asia and Europe, a book that combine timeless negotiation strategies with practical, modern negotiation techniques.
