Labour Thanksgiving Day

Labor Thanksgiving Day is a Japanese national holiday on November 23rd that celebrates and gives thanks for the contributions of workers and the fruits of their labor. The holiday was established in 1948 to honor labor, production, and expanded workers' rights following World War II, but its roots go back to an ancient harvest festival called Niiname-sai.
