Rubby Golo

Executive Director at Global Chamber® Accra

Rubby Golo is the Founder/CEO of Global Trade Consult, a Ghanaian-based business consultancy firm supporting overseas companies with business interests in Ghana. The firm helps companies understand, access, and manage business opportunities by helping foreign companies’ trade and invest in Ghana. 

Rubby is a Trade & Investment expert with wealth of experience and demonstrated history of working in the International Trade & Investment space for almost two decades with the Department for International Trade (DTI) in Accra before setting up her business. 

She is currently a member of the Advisory Board for the Livestock & Fisheries Chamber, Board Chair for Agriwoman Foundation, Vice Board Chair for Nolle Design, Board Member for JA Ghana, Ghana Advisor for the Scottish Africa Business Association (SABA), Country Advisor for Turnkey International Business Group (Turkey), and Country Business Partner for the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce (GMCC). She also acts as the Executive Director for Global Chamber (USA) in Ghana.

Derek Bbanga

Executive Director at Global Chamber® Nairobi

Derek is a Regional Director with the Alpha Group where he helps SME owners solve difficult challenges, evaluate opportunities and develop effective strategies for better professional and business performance. As an entrepreneur himself, Derek knows the highs and lows that come with running your own business and has the receipts to prove it! He says, “I love passing on tried and true advice I’ve picked up along the way to help others grow the businesses of their dreams.” Whether the question is operational, financial, or even personal, the Alpha Group provides wisdom, perspective and accountability to help executives make better decisions.

 Derek is also an executive trainer, coach and facilitator with his company Public Image supporting organizations and individuals for high performance. He has trained and worked with hundreds of individuals and teams, helping leaders, professionals and entrepreneurs increase their earning potential. He truly enjoys helping people and filling the gap between where they are now, and where they want to be in terms of emotional intelligence, leadership, communication and executive presence skills.  

Derek is a multiple TEDx speaker and a contributor in the media giving advice on being seen, heard and remembered for the right reasons. He is a certified Emotional Intelligence Practitioner with Genos International. He worked as Financial Analyst with Bloomberg in New York and a Risk Analyst with the Edhec Risk Institute in France. He was Communications Strategist with the London based consultancy africapractice. Derek is a keynote speaker at conferences and a corporate host and moderator. He is an ambassador with the Pan African Advocacy Group Africa 2.0 and a qualified fitness instructor.

Adesola-Debbie DARAMOLA

Executive Director Global Chamber® Lagos

Adesola-Debbie DARAMOLA is the Executive Director of Global Chamber® Lagos, Project Assistant (OPs) with the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), a UN agency for Migration, and Executive Creator of ADESEWACONCEPT. She is a graduate of Yaba College of Technology in Accounting, and member of CIM UK.  She is an industrious, intelligent, hand working and meticulous lady, with working experience spanning 15 years in the Financial institution (Banking & Insurance).

Selam Ayalew

Executive Director at Global Chamber® Addis Ababa

Selam is a development worker with 15 years of practical working experience in different organizations with various thematic focuses. She has managed and coordinated projects with many organizations including but not limited to TechnoServe, BBC Media Action,UNICEF, Electoral reform Services International (ERIS) and IREX. Selam is a motivated, bright and ambitious person, who is passionate about projects that make a difference - be it at an individual or system level.
