About Veronica Reaves

As a Senior Associate, Veronica sources, conducts diligence, and provides portfolio support at Serena Ventures. Veronica has dedicated her career to supporting founders who work to democratize access to a better life, and her unique perspective is informed by 10 years of experience as a strategy consultant, founder, and investor. Most notably, she helped launch the African Leadership University, named one of Africa’s most innovative companies in 2016 by Fast Company, and founded Black Women in Venture Capital, a community of over 200 Black women in venture capital who envision an equitable VC system.

Veronica is a proud Alumna of Howard University and holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
