Kathryn believes that business is done between people, and she focuses on building strong relationships that serve as a solid foundation for business. Most of her work centers on assisting entrepreneurs in the consumer goods sector to bridge the gap between their home markets and either Asia or Europe.
When she's not traveling the world, Kathryn enjoys playing clarinet in her local town’s wind orchestra and sharing her love of the outdoors with her Rover Scout group.
Amr Abdul Salam Almekhlafi - Executive Director of the Global Chamber® YemenMr. Amr Abdul Salam Almekhlafi is a visionary leader in the fields of international trade, economic development, and investment facilitation. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA - UK), he holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a Master's degree in International Business Administration.
Over the past decade, Mr. Almekhlafi has emerged as one of Yemen's most dynamic economic connectors - bridging local markets with global opportunities. Through his role as Executive Director of the Global Chamber® Yemen, he spearheads high-level partnerships that bring international investors, businesses, and institutions into direct collaboration with Yemeni stakeholders.
He co-founded EMAC Consulting Services, and is also the founder of Al-Muasira Company for Commercial Agencies, Top Pioneers Institute for Medical Devices Services, and Aseel Foundation for Relief and Development.
Mr. Almekhlafi works closely with international executives, heads of state, and multinational corporations to champion economic transformation and empower trade flows into Yemen. His mission is clear: revitalize Yemen's private sector, create jobs, and unlock new investment frontiers for global partners.

Doug Bruhnke is founder and CEO of Global Chamber®. He's a global entrepreneur, connector, trade advocate, speaker and author dedicated to growing Global Chamber® and helping members reach new markets and gain new clients across metros and borders more successfully.
Doug worked with the Dupont Company and had expatriate assignments in Tokyo and Singapore. He has over 38 years of global trade experience working with clients in nearly every market segment including automotive, aerospace, industrial, healthcare, life sciences and technology. Currently his memberships include Global Chamber®, the Arizona District Export Council, the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition and the Thunderbird Global Alumni Network (TGAN) Advisory Council. He's a German-Polish American living in the U.S. who has 5 U.S. patents and an education that includes a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah and an EMBA from Michigan State University.
