Nunzio De Filippis is Co-CEO of CargoTrans and a Licensed Customs Broker since 2005. With over two decades of experience helping global brands, suppliers, and distributors navigate U.S. Customs regulations, he is known for his practical, strategy-first approach to trade compliance, logistics, and tariff mitigation.

He was featured on the cover of The Wall Street Journal (April 2025) and quoted in WSJ Live Market Updates for his leadership in customs brokerage. His analysis of shifting tariff policies has also been featured by LinkedIn Top News.

Nunzio frequently speaks to business owners, supplier networks, and industry groups about tariffs, logistics, and U.S. trade policy. He has presented to international audiences on U.S. market entry strategies, including a 2019 seminar hosted by AMCHAM Luxembourg to help EU businesses navigate U.S. Customs regulations. In 2025, he led a multi-city seminar series across Vietnam, hosted by the Investment and Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC), advising exporters on how to restructure their supply chains and reduce duty exposure. He has also served as a panelist at Fashinnovation NYC, co-hosted a webinar for The Jewish Entrepreneur (TJE), and regularly shares trade and tariff updates through webinars, workshops, and industry roundtables.

He serves on the boards of the NY Alliance and Verde Fulfillment USA, and has received SmartCEO’s Family Business and Future50 awards for his leadership in a second-generation enterprise.
