NOTE: Welcome to Global Chamber NYC! In 2025 we have new guidelines for Global Chamber NYC meetings. Prospective members are invited to attend two meetings as our guests. After that, to attend it is required you join the Global Chamber NYC or create an approved sponsorship with the Chapter. If last time was your first meeting and you're not yet a member, you are allowed one more comp meeting before paying dues. If you have attended more than two meetings without paying membership fees, your membership is due and you will not be allowed to attend any more of our chapter meetings until you have paid a membership. This facilitates our continued progress as a chapter within the 525+ metro network.

Marcia N. Needleman - Principal and Managing Attorney of Levitt & Needleman, P.C.
Marcia is the Principal and Managing Partner of Levitt & Needleman, P.C. The firm practices exclusively in the area of immigration and nationality law. In addition to Ms. Needleman, the firm is comprised of three associate attorneys, and five support staff.
Marcia has been with the firm and practicing in this area of law for over 25 years. A graduate of Brooklyn Law School, she is admitted to the New York State Bar and the Federal District Court of New York, Eastern and Southern Districts.
Marcia has been a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) for over twenty − five years. She currently serves on the AILA Committee and is a Former Trustee for the American Immigration Council (formerly AILF, American Immigration Law Foundation). She served on the AILA Board of Governors for five (5) years. In 2001-2002 she held the position of Chair of the New York Chapter of AILA. Previously, she held several other positions on the Executive Committee of the New York Chapter and served on numerous committees, locally and nationally. Marcia is involved in legislative advocacy and has represented AILA in Washington DC on a variety of immigration issues.
Marcia also serves as Chair of the Immigration Subcommittee of the Legal Advisory Council of Sanctuary for Families, an organization committed to assisting families dealing with the issue of domestic violence. The firm has handled numerous cases on a pro bono basis, through Sanctuary for Families, representing immigrant women who have been the victims of domestic violence.
Marcia has lectured, nationally and internationally, on various topics pertaining to U.S. Immigration and Nationality Law and is regularly listed in the publications, “The Best Lawyers in America”, “Super Lawyers” and “Who's Who Legal, Corporate Immigration.”

Susan Gitenstein Assadi, Executive Director at Global Chamber® New York City
Susan leads GAPR, a PR firm with an emphasis on expert and thought leadership campaigns. She is a highly respected national media strategist who helps her clients to be promoted to the national media, weaving in compelling stories that resonate with top media outlets. Her campaigns have enabled her clients to have features and recurring citations in The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Reuters and Bloomberg. As a result of her campaigns, her clients have been boosted into leaders of their respective fields. Susan has over four decades representing public and private companies in the financial services, corporate governance and the proxy industry, alternative energy, and those with an emphasis on responsible business practices such as ESG. Most recently she has been working with disruptors who are helping to build the domestic supply chain of rare earth materials. Susan also has represented some leading non-profits. She also co-founded Safed House, a non-profit, that provides a welcoming place for refugees and recent immigrants to share their stories.
Her firm’s campaigns are fresh, creative, tech savvy, and innovative, a cocktail that engenders powerful results.
Prior to founding her own PR firm, Susan was the publicist for PBS MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour. She received a Master's Degree in Fine Arts from New York University, and obtained a Bachelor's Degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
