Speakers

Kaoru Nishinakagawa - Co-founder of Innovation Dojo; Global Advisor and Advisory Board Chair at Global Chamber Sydney and Global Chamber Tokyo

Kaoru is a co-founder of Innovation Dojo, has been instrumental in driving cross-cultural incubation programs and leading hackathons and startup pitch contests. With extensive experience as an innovation consultant at Fusion Labs and Deloitte, she has led corporate innovation programs, venture building, and employee training. Most recently, she was the Internal Innovation Lead at News Corp, focusing on innovation capabilities and testing new concepts.

Kaoru is currently the Chief Advisor at the Australia-Japan Innovation Fund, which aims to accelerate collaboration between the two nations by providing research funding for cutting-edge scientific and technological activities. Kaoru also advises Japanese startups through JETRO, helping them navigate the Australian market and connect with the local startup ecosystem. She is also Global Advisor and Advisory Board Chair at Global Chamber Sydney and Global Chamber Tokyo.

Takehiro (Tim) Muraoka - Sales Manager at Leap.

Tim is the Sales Manager. After graduating from the University of Hawaii, he engaged in international sales and management at Hayashibara and a JFE Group company. He has extensive sales and marketing experience in Japan, Düsseldorf, Sacramento, and Shenzhen. Trilingual in Japanese, English, and Chinese.
