HAOLLA: AI for Education—Teachers and Students First

  • Thursday, January 22nd at 4pm PT / 7pm ET
  • Friday, January 23rd at 12am Accra + London / 1am CET / 4am Dubai / 5:30am Mumbai / 8am Singapore / 9am Seoul + Tokyo / 11am Sydney

Artificial intelligence is reshaping education—but not all AI in schools/education is created equal. Join us for an online webinar that explores how AI can truly serve the people at the heart of education: teachers and students. Rather than focusing on technology for technology’s sake, this session emphasizes human-centric AI strategies that enhance learning outcomes, strengthen instructional capacity, and maintain the core values of effective teaching.

In this session, Ian Kang, an AI specialist and pioneer in K-education and integrated AI learning systems at HAOLLA, will share insights drawn from real implementations and educational design practice. Ian has led initiatives deploying AI-driven platforms and instructional frameworks that extend beyond automation to support adaptive learning pathways and teacher workflows. His work with HAOLLA emphasizes cognitive science-informed tools and scalable educational models that prioritize student growth and educator empowerment.

What You Will Learn

  • How AI tools can be integrated effectively in educational environments— including examples of AI-assisted speech analysis, learner management, and personalized feedback systems designed to supplement, not replace, teacher expertise.
  • Approaches to personalization that respect diverse learning needs, enabling differentiated support that aligns with individual student goals.
  • Practical strategies for educators and administratorsto adopt AI responsibly within existing pedagogical frameworks, with attention to ethical, equitable implementation.
  • Discussion of key challenges in harmonizing AI capabilities with human-led instruction and how thoughtful design can resolve them without diminishing professional autonomy.

Who Should Attend

This webinar is designed for a broad audience of educators, school leaders, curriculum designers, policymakers, and education-technology professionals. Whether you are exploring AI for classroom use, planning institutional adoption, or evaluating the future of learning systems, this session will equip you with meaningful frameworks and actionable insights to guide your decisions.

Why This Matters Today

As AI becomes more pervasive in schools worldwide, the central question is not if we use it—but how we use it to enhance human potential. This webinar offers an evidence-informed, human-forward perspective on AI in education that supports better teaching practice and more nuanced student engagement.

Reserve your space now and be part of a thoughtful, forward-looking dialogue about the role of AI in transforming education for teachers and learners alike.

Speaker:

Ian Kang - AI Education Specialist and Founder of HAOLLA

Ian Kang is an AI education specialist and the founder of HAOLLA, an AI- and cognitive science–based education designer and supporter dedicated to human-centered, high-efficiency learning design. He integrates artificial intelligence, ultra-efficient task and instructional systems, and cognitive science to develop adaptive learning pathways, AI-driven feedback mechanisms, and scalable classroom workflow models that support both teachers and students.

Drawing on real-world implementations across K–12 and international education contexts, Ian emphasizes responsible AI adoption that does not undermine educators’ professionalism or autonomy, but instead amplifies their expertise and contributes to sustainable job creation within education.

In particular, he highlights HAOLLA’s distinctive approach of leveraging the proven strengths of the Korean education system—not for superficial, short-term score gains, but to enable rapid and meaningful improvement in exam performance by helping learners deeply understand how teachers and exam designers think and construct assessments.
