Ricardo Cassain - CEO at Go Ocean Logistics 

Ricardo Cassain is the CEO and Head Manager of Go Ocean Logistics, a U.S.-based freight forwarding and NVOCC company specializing in international vehicle shipping and high & heavy cargo logistics. With a strong focus on Roll-on/Roll-off (RoRo) solutions, Ricardo has built a reputation for delivering efficient, transparent, and customer-focused logistics services for both businesses and individual clients.
 
He also brings hands-on expertise in global trade, ocean freight operations, and U.S. export and import compliance, supporting clients with containerized shipments, Importer Security Filing (ISF), and end-to-end logistics coordination. Ricardo helps clients navigate complex shipping processes with clarity and confidence, whether exporting vehicles or managing inbound cargo to the United States.
 
Ricardo is also leading the development of innovative digital tools to modernize the freight forwarding industry, including instant online quoting systems designed to simplify and accelerate international shipping.

Update from Shalom

Shalom Bako - Managing Director at Afrivana - Shalom was born and raised in Northern Nigeria. Shalom moved to the United States as teenager; excelling as an athlete with teams like the Los Angeles Galaxy. Groomed by unique international experiences, Shalom returned to West Africa, focused on agricultural development, manufacturing and distribution. Shalom is passionate about connecting the African continent with her diasporas; using agricultural trade and development as a primary vehicle. "Innovation for Africa, must be lead by Africans.”
