Catherine Engmann - Managing Director and Founder of Mindful Governance

Catherine Engmann is an international governance advisor and executive coach with over 20 years of experience in corporate governance. Half of her career was spent working with FTSE-listed companies in the UK, and she now serves clients across various industries, including banking, insurance, oil & gas, and not-for-profits.

She is the Managing Director and Founder of Mindful Governance, a boutique corporate governance advisory and leadership development firm based in Ghana with a global reach. Catherine is also the Co-Founder and Non-Executive Director of Sirdar Ghana Limited, a leader in boardroom performance.

Catherine currently serves as a Non-Executive Director on three boards and holds a consulting role with the International Finance Corporation as the ESG Lead for Ghana, where she supports capacity-building initiatives in ESG within the financial services sector. She specializes in corporate governance, board evaluations, leadership development, culture transformation, and systemic coaching for C-suite executives and founders.

She holds a degree in Biotechnology and is a graduate of the Chartered Governance Institute (formerly ICSA UK). Catherine is also certified in culture transformation tools, leadership development, and executive coaching. She is a Maxwell Leadership coach and trainer, and a Barrett Values Centre certified culture transformation consultant
