King of Trash Private Pre-Screening in Orlando

On behalf of VABA and the Organizing Committee, we are honored to invite you to a special screening of The King of Trash, a feature-length documentary directed by award-winning cinematographer Errol Webber.

This screening is presented in collaboration with the Vietnamese American Business Association (VABA), VBI Global, and PSK Creative as part of a broader effort to bring the Vietnamese American community together through meaningful storytelling, shared history, and community connection. This is also especially meaningful as it marks one of VABA’s first community-building efforts with a presence in Washington, D.C.

Filmed across California and Vietnam, the documentary follows the extraordinary journey of David Duong and the Duong family, who arrived in the United States as refugees with little more than determination and hope, and went on to build California Waste Solutions, one of Northern California’s most recognized family-owned environmental services companies.

More than a business story, the film honors the resilience, sacrifice, and hope of Vietnamese immigrant families who rebuilt their lives in America and created opportunities for future generations.
