We are especially honoured that His Excellency the Ambassador of Malaysia to the United States, Tan Sri Muhammad Shahrul Ikram Yaakob — a career diplomat who previously served as Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia and Director General of Asean Malaysia National Secretariat who spearheaded the 2015 ASEAN Summit — will grace the reception with his presence. His attendance reflects the Government of Malaysia's strong commitment to engaging directly with the business community and underscores the importance we attach to strengthening Malaysia–United States economic and commercial relations. Guests will have the opportunity to meet and interact with the Ambassador in an informal setting, making this a particularly meaningful occasion for dialogue and networking.

This reception also serves as a timely platform to introduce MIHAS 2026 (Malaysia International Halal Showcase), the world's largest halal trade exhibition.
