Kwame Agyei Apeaning is an educator, entrepreneur, and advocate for sustainable industrial development in Ghana's salt sector. He serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Precious Premium Salt and is the Founder of the Chamber of Salt Producers & Exporters Ghana (CSPEG), where he promotes collaboration, investment, and policy reforms to strengthen the salt industryand expand Ghana's presence in regional and international markets.
With a strong background in education, Kwame is the Head of the Social Studies Department at Tema Mission Technical Institute, where he is committed to developing students' knowledge, critical thinking, and leadership skills. He has a Postgraduate Diploma in Education to further enhance his professional competence in teaching and educational leadership.
Kwame is passionate about industrialization, export development, and value addition in Ghana'snatural resources. His vision includes positioning Ghana as a leading producer and exporter of high-quality salt while promoting sustainable mining practices, job creation, and regional tradeacross West Africa. He actively engages with government institutions, development partners, and international organizations to advance investment opportunities and strengthen the salt value chain. He is a recognized international speaker on salt development in Africa, traveledextensively across Africa, Europe and Asia.
