Sarita D. Jackson, PhD, CGBP is a bilingual (English/Spanish) international trade consultant and founder of the Los Angeles-based Global Research Institute of International Trade (GRIIT). She empowers businesses to expand globally in today’s digital economy with confidence through comprehensive, customized market intelligence and strategic insight.

With deep expertise across Latin America, the Caribbean, and Southern Africa, she brings a global perspective grounded in real-world experience.

Dr. Jackson is the author of International Trade in Services: Effective Practice and Policy and a TEDx speaker. Her published insights, talks, and advisory engagements translate complex international markets into clear, actionable opportunities.

Dr. Jackson received a Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship for the occupation of cybersecurity business counselor for microbusinesses by the US Department of Labor.

She also advises local small and mid-sized businesses on leveraging global export opportunities through her work with the Economic Development Collaborative Small Business Development Center (EDC SBDC). 

Additionally, Dr. Jackson is a member of the District Export Council of Southern California. She chairs the advisory board for Global Chamber Los Angeles and sits on the advisory council of Women in International Trade Orange County (WITOC).

She continues to mentor with Select Global Women in Tech (SGWIT), a SelectUSA Investment Summit initiative hosted by the US Department of Commerce and that connects female tech entrepreneurs worldwide with opportunities in the U.S. market.

Dr. Jackson holds a B.A. in broadcast journalism and Spanish from the University of Southern California and a Ph.D. in political science from Brown University.

In addition to her corporate endeavors, Stefanie serves as the Executive Director of Global Chamber Dallas-Fort Worth, fostering global business opportunities and connecting professionals worldwide. A lifelong servant leader, she has dedicated years to mentoring youth, supporting underserved communities, and serving in various church roles.
