Global Chamber Texas
GC TEXAS ABOUT AUSTIN DALLAS HOUSTON SAN ANTONIO
GC Texas: A Global Economic Powerhouse
Texas, with its vast expanse and dynamic economy, stands out as an exceptional destination for international business, global trade, foreign direct investment (FDI), and corporate relocation. As you read, you will understand why "Everything is Big in Texas" to include why companies join Global Chamber® to do business in the #1 state of the United States for International Trade and Exports.
Historically companies have had challenges doing international business with the Lone Star State, but with Global Chamber's unique international platform offering continual solutions, we are the perfect fit for companies that want to align with taking their business to Texas or growing with the #1 small business growth state in the United States according to the US Census Department. On two fronts, Global Chamber® has been approved to be the messenger of the "Making Global Local" campaign of the United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA)...and approved in San Antonio, Texas by the government to ensure Texas leads the charge. This rally cry enables local small businesses to see the vast opportunities of scaling up their businesses and connecting in a new environment that typically was not very comfortable for the majority of small business owners.
In Texas, Global Chamber have also been champions of developing Second Stage Companies as defined by the Edward Lowe Foundation. Second Stage Companies represent the workhorses of the local markets, that are small, have scaled but need more support to be global companies. We have internal consultants as well as state advocates for Small Businesses that support local organizations to the Texas Governor's Office for Small Business.
Global Chamber® literally accelerates and helps our small businesses grow with the large corporations listed on our website at the bottom of our page.
Global Chamber® also represents the world... as #525 metro chapters organically give us the diversity of the world. "We are the World" is not just a popular hit song but it is the diversity commitment of the Global Chamber®. We are the standard for US businesses that want to do business with nearly 94% of the World's customers outside of the Unted States. We also represent the 20% of the World's GDP that the United States represents to the World...Companies from everywhere use the Global Chamber® to understand how to grow their business and place international products and services on the shelves of US retail markets. We are also the most attractive opportunity for multinational firms and investors seeking to understand Texas culture, US opportunities and maybe seeking to relocate manufacturing plants or have a United States presence.
As you read the bullets below, Global Chamber® Texas is a tremendous gateway to the world offered to you through your generous membership and/or company sponsorship.
Our banking partners and new businesses sometimes will ask what are the financial needs of the Global Chamber® members? Access to capital remains the #1 need of all businesses - we are no different. Secondly what is the redundancy, if any, for supporting business members perhaps aligned to other chambers of commerce? Nearly 80% of our members surveyed are only Global Chamber® members exclusively with another 20% with a local chamber membership or aligned to a chamber based on race, gender, religion, or ethnicity. Perhaps the high percentage is obvious that local chambers cannot be focused on local issues and international markets. Global Chamber®, as a healthy alternative, ended the issues of borders and boundaries, grew markets simultaneously around the world, hence why we have global market presence and have global connectivity on various platforms.
Global Chamber's ROI in almost 10 years is so unique, the revolutionary opportunity Global Chamber® presents is endless. Unlike local chambers our global chamber members are the boots on the ground that have been united under Global Chamber's one membership umbrella. For that reason, our members are connected on a virtual platform, that connects members through warm introductions, and we do not sell or distribute membership list, that often are called through coldly in other organizations, and leaves chamber members vulnerable and disappointed to the cold calls of stranger members.
Global Chamber® does have seasoned Global Advisors, Executive Directors, and niche Mentors, who we pivot to for advice on large projects and the needs expressed by our members. If you like what you have read, please join the Global Tribe or sponsor events of the Tribe... to experience the best possible relationship with the Global Chamber® members. For a list of other chapters outside of Texas please see our metro locations.

"When I formed Global Chamber® Texas to unify the state's Metros, it built upon Doug Bruhnke's vision for creating a chamber business environment that would be healthy for all businesses to come together and do business like a United Nations. Navigating Texas & the global landscape has always posed challenges for businesses. Historically, companies faced barriers such as unfamiliar regulations, cultural differences, and logistical complexities. However, in today’s interconnected world, these challenges are met with opportunities. The diversity of our planet—its languages, customs, and markets—provides a rich tapestry for businesses to weave their success stories."
Christopher C. Herring (Executive Director, Global Chamber® Texas)
