Doug Bruhnke. Founder and CEO at Global Chamber®. We are the first and only chamber of commerce located in hundreds of metro areas and focused on helping companies grow across metros and borders by providing warm connections, business information, regional and global events and other services. Doug was born in Mt. Kisco, New York and is a two-time expat with the Dupont Company (Tokyo & Singapore). He has worked in nearly every global market segment with travel to over 60 countries. Doug is a member of the Arizona District Export Council, regional advisor for U.S. Global Leadership Coalition and past president of Global Ties Arizona. Melissa Sanderson. Vice President of International Affairs at Freeport McMoRan Copper and Gold. Melissa was previously a political counselor at the United States’ Department of State, where she was a Political Officer and Charge d'Affairs at the US Embassy in the Congo. She also worked as a corporate investment advisor at Fifth Third Bank. Melissa has a B.A. in Economics, a B.A. in English Literature and an MBA degree from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Susan Shultz. Founder SSA Executive Search International, Ltd. Susan has conducted senior level searches nationally and internationally since 1981, specializing in building and structuring corporate boards. She is recognized as a leading expert in corporate governance. She authored the highly acclaimed The Board Book, Making Your Corporate Board a Strategic Force in your Company’s Success (AMACOM) and has been featured in the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Business Week, USA Today, Strategic Finance, the Economist, CFO Magazine and numerous other media. She also leads the Global Board Practice for INAC Executive Search Worldwide (43countries), helping public and private companies build better boards of directors.
Kiyoko Toyama. Speaker and Community Leader. Kiyoko became the first female CEO within NKK Switches (Kawasaki, Japan). She became President of NKK Switches of America in 1999 and ran the company for 13 years, transforming it into a market leader. Today Kiyoko is a sought after speaker on cultural diversity, international business and Japan-US relations. She speaks frequently at the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, educational institutions and business organizations. Kiyoko holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Alverno College.
Cesar Trabanco. Vice President at Global Chamber®. With over a decade of administrative, operational and leadership experience in different types of environments that range from international non-profit organizations to private corporations, Cesar has focused on international business and trade with significant input to the service sector. Specifically, he has worked on market development and service management for Latin America and Europe. Cesar's work with Global Chamber® has allowed him to interact a lot more with markets like Asia, Africa and North America as collectively the team is in process to build the first truly global business community. Back in Puerto Rico, his main goal is to put the island on the map of global business and to open more opportunities for the improvement of the economy there during the years to come.
