On November 6th, business, education, non-profit and government leaders gathered to connect and hear about new global initiatives in Metro Tucson, including the launch of the new Global Chamber Tucson. Attendees heard Mayor Jonathan Rothschild, Tucson Hispanic Chamber President Lea Marquez-Peterson, Mexico Consul General Ricardo Pineda Albarran and others share global initiatives, ESPECIALLY the new Global Chamber®!
"It takes a village to grow globally, and this is a top cross section of the global movers and shakers in Tucson", said Doug Bruhnke, CEO/founder of Global Chamber®.
"Our focus is on collaboration to get more companies involved, help them be more successful and allow more people to have a global career, and I'm proud that we can assemble such an extraordinary group of leaders who can articulate 'why global', and update us on the latest and greatest."
The event was free to the business public. It happened last week at Connect Coworking in downtown Tucson. More here: http://tucsongoesglobal.eventbrite.com/
