In the past 10 years, Arizona businesses increased export volume by 44 percent. The problem is, during the same period, overall U.S. exports nearly doubled, and other states have made more progress. Utah increased its export volume by 240 percent during that same period. while Texas and Washington more than doubled their export volume.
Phoenix, Tucson and Arizona-based companies overall have work to do.
