We are pleased and honored to announce that the Global Chamber and the Global Chamber Phoenix will be hosting former Ambassador of Japan to the U.S. Ichiro Fujisaki and a distinguished delegation from Japan on March 9th.

On Monday, March 9th the Japanese Consulate in Los Angeles is working with the Global Chamber to host a lunch event 11am to 1pm at Skysong for members and non-members of the Global Chamber, $25 for non-members. This event includes a Japanese lunch.

Then on that same day March 9th, the Japanese Consulate, with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation and the Global Chamber will host a VIP reception 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Taliesin West for members of the Global Chamber and invited VIP guests - including the Arizona Consular Corps. Japanese food and drink is being arranged.

Ambassador Ichiro Fujisaki will speak as part of the "Walk in U.S., Talk on Japan" program, and will be joined by others from Japan in a special program at Skysong on Japan and Japan opportunities. Phoenix is among a handful of cities chose, and the Global Chamber Phoenix is honored to host the event.

Participants from Japan who have volunteered to join the program come from a diverse range of backgrounds, but all have some connection to the U.S. They have formed groups, each of which are led by a 'group leader' with a relevant area of expertise. While traveling through various major U.S. cities, each group have taken part in exchanges at a local grassroots level, discussed important factors of the future U.S.-Japan relationships, and talked about recent positive developments in Japan.
