Martha Mayhood Mertz - Founder at ATHENA International. Martha is the author of Becoming ATHENA: Eight Principles of Enlightened Leadership, and the founder of ATHENA International. She is a speaker, author, and successful real estate entrepreneur (as president and owner of the Michigan-based firm Mayhood/Mertz Investment, Inc.). Mertz’s book traces the ATHENA history and illuminates the ATHENA principles, with inspiring stories from Martha and other leaders. Martha was President of ATHENA International from its beginnings in Lansing, MI in 1982 to May of 1999. Now, a global board leads ATHENA and Martha serves as a board member and ambassador, traveling the globe to share the message that women bring a distinctive, transforming approach to leadership – an approach that goes beyond gender to speak to all who would lead in the 21st century.
Kimberly Daniels - CEO at Mercantile Logistics & International Trade, Inc. Kim has more than 10 years of professional experience in international logistics. She started as a logistics manager for a construction supplier, importing hundreds of containers per month for projects on and around the Las Vegas Strip. She later went on to assist small business owners with the importation and exportation of their goods as the freight director for an e-commerce fulfillment warehouse. She is currently the CEO of Mercantile Logistics & International Trade, Inc., a small business that focuses on the international trade needs of other small businesses. As a licensed and experienced customs broker, Kim is astute to the regulations imposed by the US Government for goods crossing the border. As a small business owner, she is keenly aware of the needs of small businesses to operate efficiently and effectively, creating her own programs to smooth costs for clients in providing required customs services. Kim believes that only by working together, rather than separately, can the client achieve their global expansion goals. Kim holds a Certificate in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD) from APICS.
Donaji Montes - CEO/Founder at Intechnational, LLC. Donaji is a bilingual and bicultural International Business Developer & Operations Coordinator with 11 years of experience working with technology companies to help grow their businesses. She has lived in Spain, Mexico, and in the US. Donaji has international business experience working for The US Mexico Foundation for Science Inc. (FUMEC), in the Technology Business Accelerator program (TechBA), which specializes in helping technology companies explore global markets. Now, Donaji is Intechnational LLC’s CEO and founder, a consulting firm based in the Silicon Valley that helps technology businesses with their international endeavors. She has coordinated the job of over 30 international consultants and has helped more than 155 technology companies. Donaji holds a BA in Management and Business Administration from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. She studied International Business in Mexico with a selective Latin America student group and in Spain when she earned a scholarship to finish her University studies.
Felena Hanson - CEO/Founder at Hera Hub. Felena is a long-time entrepreneur and marketing maven. Her latest venture, Hera Hub, is a spa-inspired shared workspace and business accelerator for female entrepreneurs. This as-needed, flexible work and meeting space provides a productive environment for growing businesses. Hera Hub members have access to a professional space to meet with clients and to connect and collaborate with like-minded business owners, thus giving them the support they need to be prosperous. She has three company owned locations in San Diego and licensed locations in Phoenix, DC, Orange County, and Sweden, with more cities launching soon. She’s on a mission to support over 20,000 women in the launch and growth of their business by the end of 2020. Felena and Hera Hub have been featured in Inc Magazine, the BBC News, Forbes, and the New York Times. She is a published author and international speaker. Her book, “Flight Club – Rebel, Reinvent, and Thrive: How to Launch Your Dream Business” is available on Amazon.
Fatina "Tina" Sweis - Founder at Overachieving Women Association. Tine holds an MA in American Studies and has served in a variety of roles, most notably as Youth Advisor for the Prime Minister of Jordan. She believes that every successful partnership starts when you pair an individual’s passion and skills with an environment that is ideal for their growth. Centered around her clients’ needs, Tina ensures that she matches each project with a set of goals that emerge from within a subjects needs to excel and be appreciated, whether it’s directing youth engagement programs, creating new business models and developing creative curriculum. Her dearest Co-Founded Initiatives are NewThink Theatre-Festival and EduArt.
