Six Program Business Series Gives Leaders More Access to Opportunities

Even for American firms, 85% of new opportunities in the next 5 years will be outside the U.S. Global merchandise trade across borders is $20 trillion per year, and service trade is around $6 trillion per year, with both growing rapidly especially outside the U.S. For companies seeking to capture more of these opportunities, we have good news!

Global Chamber® and Coaching Professors have teamed up to create and offer 6 business programs to help leaders gain a greater slice of these opportunities. Each of the 6 programs contains 4 live courses accessed via zoom led by Professor Roberto Ancis, CEO/founder of Coaching Professors. Highly interactive teaching techniques allows entrepreneurs to design specific growth solutions for their unique businesses.

Direct and extensive global business experience along with MBA level materials will be shared in the Global Growth Best Practices (GGBP) Series. GGBP was specifically designed to meet the needs of Global Chamber® members and to provide formalized guidance in the selection, identification, reach and management of international markets.  

The format of the meetings provides strong interaction between all participants, and we'll move forward learning from each other and from the facilitator. GGBP consists of the six 4-week programs, with different objectives and different focus for each. The online meetings will be once a week, 1.5 hours per meeting, with ‘full access” participation by each attendee. Participants will receive a multi-slide Power Point summary of each meeting, relevant participation, guidance, answers, and useful information for their own businesses.

Program 1. 1 - Five Options to Access Foreign Markets and the EFE Methods to Assess Them: In weeks 1, 2 and 3, the meetings will be focused on discussing the quantitative ‘EFE’ method to select optimal countries in the world to conduct business and assessing opportunities and risks. The week 4 meeting brings prior research and discussion together, to assess the best method of market entry for each participating company’s product and service. With EFE you will no longer have to wonder what country or countries you should select for your company - you will have an actual ‘number’ to compare each country that you are considering.  A powerpoint document will be distributed to each participant with week details.

  • Session 1-1 (Aug. 28th) – Participants present their products/services. A discussion on going international, including risks
  • Session 1-2 (Sept. 4th) – Macro variables behind foreign country selection 
  • Session 1-3 (Sept. 11th) – How to select and assess a Foreign Market – the EFE Method 
  • Session 1-4 (Sept. 18th) – 5 Methods of Market Entry – Pros and Cons of each method

Program 2 - The H Model: Predicting Global Cultural Affinity

  • 4 sessions to be started November, 2019.

Program 3 - Pricing for Profit in International Business

  • 4 sessions to be started January, 2020.

Program 4 - Metrics and KPIs to Assess Your Foreign Operations 

  • 4 sessions to be started March, 2020.

Program 5 - Financial Analysis and Solutions for International Divisions and Foreign Operations

  • 4 sessions to be started May, 2020.

Program 6 - International Conflict Resolution Techniques

  • 4 sessions to be started July, 2020.

Each 4-week module may be accessed independently, although it is suggested that the modules be taken in the existing sequence, with continuity, to best benefit from each of the prior learning tools for the next program learning. 

At the end of the series, each participant will have been able to incorporate their learnings into their business in order to accelerate growth. At that time we will also have a Virtual "Graduation Ceremony" where Certificates of Attendance and Recognition will be delivered for those completing the entire program and gaining the most success from the programs.
