2) Best Nationwide Coordinated Effort. Winner: Global Chamber® Mexico including Arturo Zamarripa, Indira Jeffrey, Christian Aguirre and Gabriela Castro. For organizing events on market segments and other topics of regional interest. Also recognizing your regular communications within the country to advance the success of members based in Mexico, and growing there.
3) Best Intern and Young Global Leader (YGL) Programs. Winner Maimun Mustafa, Executive Director of Global Chamber® Dhaka. For organizing many dozens of interns coming through the system in 2021, pioneering the finding, training and development for YGLs. Our interns drive attendance at events, support the advisory boards, organize activities and more. Thank you!
4) "Global Icon" Executive Director. Winner Larry Harte, ED of Global Chamber® Cincinnati for being extremely flexible to take on the leadership role for Denver, in addition to his role in Cincinnati. His work also led to the first Global Icon sponsorship at Global Chamber®, again demonstrating flexibility to go beyond the 'normal' value and investment levels. Congratulations, Larry!
5) Luckiest Executive Director. Winner Christopher Herring, Executive Director at Global Chamber® San Antonio for working hard, being smart and diligent, using creativity, and leading with a strong advisory board led by Jorge Canavati... and marrying Stefanie Austin... who is becoming our ED for Austin, and whose sister Dana Austin is becoming our ED for Atlanta. Wow!
6) Most Improved Executive Director. Winners Shanker Damodaran, ED at Global Chamber® Ahmedabad, India and Aparna Ranadive, ED at Global Chamber® Mumbai (tie). For impressive event scheduling, event facilitation/moderation and member growth in their regions. In addition both Executive Directors have impressive advisory boards. Congratulations!
7) Best Exporting and Importing Executive Directors. Winners Christian Aguirre (Hermosillo, Mexico) and Raihan Hadi (Chittagong, Bangladesh), who both have multiple entrepreneurial businesses. As they grow chapters, they are also using their entrepreneurial and leadership skills to advance these growing businesses, and the growth of members.
8) Best Moderator and Collaborator as an Executive Director. Winner Colin Christie at Global Chamber® Manila. Colin has repeatedly demonstrated throughout the year of his strong collaborations with Philippine entrepreneurial groups, infomation technology organizations and most recently the Hinrich Foundation, by moderating an important globinar.
9) Best Advisory Board by an Executive Director. Winner Mi Jeong Hibbitts at Global Chamber® Baltimore-Washington, through her leadership Mi Jeong has assembled a talented, diverse and dynamic advisory board that is instrumental in event planning, member support and new member acquisition, helping the region become more effective with exporting and growth.
10) Best Big Picture Executive Director and Global Mentor. Winner Tal Zilberberg at Global Chamber® Tel Aviv / Israel. Tal is always giving, always helping, always doing events... and his weekly meetup in Israel provided leadership for our global team - including headquarters - on adding value through the covid era. Tal has a global view and reach, with an eye-level attitude.
11) In-Person Comeback of the Year Executive Director. Winner Nelson Olavarrieta at Global Chamber® Dallas. Nelson has been a "live and in person" leader for the Dallas chapter through his relationships and collaboration with members in the Dallas-Fort Worth and Frisco region. As we segue to 2022, we look forward to a mix of virtual and live events. Thanks, Nelson.
12) Cross-Metro Meetup Excellence. Winners Susan Assadi at Global Chamber® New York City and Kirsty Wilkinson at Global Chamber® Melbourne for each leading a series of cross-metro globinars, meetups and events with other metros. New York had many cross-metros, and the Australia-Japan-UK cross metro globinar was a series of three, coordinated.
13) Headquarters Collaborator of the Year. Winner Maria Putnam, Principal and Co-Founder at DEI Leadership Institute and Global Advisor at Global Chamber® Denver and Bogota. Maria led programs throughout the year with Virtual Dining and the Global Women Online Networking monthly globinar with leaders gathering to discuss challenges and opportunities.
14) Special Events and Partnerships Executive Director. Winner Lynare Robbins, Executive Director at Global Chamber® Miami. Lynare was exemplary as she collaborated many times throughout the year with interesting organizations including the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia, City of Miami, the Butter Museum of Cork, Ireland, and many more. 17) Global Advisor of the Year. Winner Rene Van Bardewijk at Global Chamber® Barcelona. Rene is a regional and global leader through his own company's success (Rebain International), and his extensive network through Thunderbird alum AND his Barcelona Think Tank (BTT). Rene is a speaker and collaborator, and an integral member of the global tribe.
18) Executive Director Regional Leader of the Year. Winner Rubby Golo, Founder and CEO at Global Trade Consult, and ED at Global Chamber® Accra. Rubby is an extraordinary leader that transcends leadership in Accra and Ghana. She provides professional and positive leadership for the region at a critical time as West Africa rises due to AfCFTA and more. Thank you.
