Madrid, June 11, 2024 - Global Chamber Madrid is pleased to announce the appointment of a new leadership team, marking the beginning of an exciting new era for our organization. With this fresh lineup of talented individuals, we are poised to take our mission to greater heights and deliver even more value to our members.
The newly appointed Executive Director of Global Chamber Madrid is Yuka Nakasone. As a seasoned professional with extensive experience in international business affairs, Nakasone brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. Her vision and dedication will undoubtedly drive our chapter forward toward success.
Didier Lagae has been appointed as the Chairperson for the Advisory Board. Didier Lagae, who also serves as Founder and Chairman at MARCO Agency and Editor at "Ejecutivos" magazine, possesses an impressive track record in leadership roles within the communication community, the author of the book “A Country Brand, a Branded Country”, and Climate Leader. We are confident that under his guidance, our Advisory Board will thrive.
Joining the Advisory Board is Jihane Kettani and Maria Fernanda Garcia. Jihane Kettani's outstanding accomplishments as President of Kenz Foundation make her an invaluable addition to our team and María Fernanda García brings in her tourism, agribusiness, and real estate entrepreneurial expertise along with her international and business affairs insight at Graells March Abogados.
Speaking about this special occasion, Executive Director Yuka Nakasone stated: "It's a dream to have such a powerful board leading the way for Global Chamber Madrid's revival. Together with their collaboration efforts, we recently celebrated a successful event for our partner Centre Euro Africa on May 23rd at MARCO Agency premises that gathered more than 30 professionals, from ambassadors of African countries to general managers of international companies. I am confident that by working together closely with them and all members across different metros including Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and soon-to-be Malaga—we can achieve remarkable things."
At present, three metro chapters—Madrid Barcelona Valencia—are fully operational, and we are excited to announce the upcoming opening of a new chapter in Malaga. We strongly believe that by fostering collaboration and cooperation among our members, companies, and cities, we can create significant opportunities for growth and development.
