Global Chamber® Argentina Trade Mission to Arizona: Building a New U.S.–Argentina Investment Corridor

Global Chamber® is bringing business and economic leaders from Argentina to Arizona for a trade mission focused on strengthening U.S.–Argentina trade, investment, logistics, and business connections.

Taking place from Sunday, September 27 through Friday, October 2, 2026, the Global Chamber® Argentina Trade Mission to Arizona will explore opportunities to initiate new trade initiatives and build stronger relationships between the US and Argentina… with key connections being the State of Arizona (US) and the State of Santa Fe (Argentina).

The mission will focus on Arizona’s growing economic and logistics ecosystem, including its role in transportation, distribution, advanced manufacturing, production chains, and cross-border trade.

It will also examine the strategic importance of Arizona’s southern border and its role in the movement of goods, logistics, and regional commerce.

Connecting Arizona With Santa Fe’s Global Logistics Gateway

A key participant in the delegation is Sergio Aladio, President of FUCEIT (The Foundation Center for Labor Studies and Research) and Secretary General of the Truck Drivers Union of the Province of Santa Fe.

Through his leadership and organizations, Aladio provides an important connection to Santa Fe’s logistics, transportation, workforce, agriculture, infrastructure, and agro-industrial sectors.

The mission will explore how Santa Fe and Arizona could become strategic partners in developing nearshoring and friendshoring opportunities, creating new connections between businesses and productive sectors in both regions.

The delegation will also include business leaders and journalists from Santa Fe.

Why Santa Fe Matters

Santa Fe represents far more than a regional Argentine market.

The Rosario–Santa Fe corridor north of Buenos Aires is one of the most important agricultural export and logistics regions in the Western Hemisphere. Gran Rosario is widely recognized as a leading global agro-industrial export hub, with the Greater Rosario port complex playing a major role in the export of grains, meal, and vegetable oils.

The region's broader ecosystem includes:

  • Agriculture and food production
  • Livestock and cattle
  • River ports and maritime logistics
  • Trucking and transportation
  • Workforce development
  • Infrastructure
  • Agro-industrial exports
  • Supply-chain services

For Arizona companies and economic development organizations, connecting with Santa Fe can provide access to an important part of Argentina’s operating economy.

Exploring Practical Business Opportunities

The trade mission will look beyond traditional trade flows to identify opportunities for technology transfer, investment, and business collaboration.

Potential areas include:

🚛 Transportation & Logistics
Fleet monitoring, electronic logging systems, transportation technology, shipping infrastructure, and supply-chain visibility.

🐄 Livestock & Agriculture
Cattle transportation, livestock logistics, traceability, and related technologies.

🛡️ Road Safety & Insurance
Driver training, transportation safety, insurance solutions, and data-driven fleet management.

❄️ Cold-Chain Logistics
Technology and infrastructure supporting the transportation and distribution of temperature-sensitive products.

⚡ Energy, Mining & Critical Minerals
Opportunities involving energy, lithium, aluminum, gold, and other strategic resources.

🏭 Manufacturing & Technology
Advanced manufacturing, industrial equipment, medical technology, information technology, and production partnerships.

💻 Data Centers
Growing opportunities around Argentina’s digital infrastructure and data-center ecosystem.

📈 Economic Development
The mission will also explore how economic development models such as the Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC) approach could upgrade collaboration with Rosario and other Argentina opportunities.
