Yuka Nakasone, Executive Director
Global Chamber® Barcelona
Born and raised in Japan, Yuka started her globalization career in Boston, MA, USA in the mid-90s. With over 25 years of experience in the field, she helps SMBs to optimize their global operations and grow internationally with digitization and localization through her consultancy company, Global Bridge in Barcelona, Spain, where she enjoys a multicultural and multilanguage life with her own small Franco-Japanese family. She is known to be innovation savvy in the globalization industry with knowledge about the development of new technologies and techniques. She has recently started to teach digital transformation and globalization at La Salle, a graduate school for architecture and engineering of Ramon Llull University in Barcelona.

René is the owner of Rebain International, a chemical trading and distribution company which he started over 20 years ago in New Zealand, and which has expanded to Australia, the Netherlands, Spain, Niger, Venezuela and Uruguay and is exporting to over 100 countries worldwide. Our service is to to be flexible and quick to respond to customers needs and understand the local cultural environment. Living in Barcelona, Spain, René also owns a company active in short term rental business letting owning and managing some chalets in the Pyrenees, Spain. He holds a Master in Business Administration from the Thunderbird School of Global Management(ASU, Arizona, USA)
Tom Van der Heyden
Tom is a co-founder and CEO of Grupo S³, an international trade consulting company, and leads its strategic expansion into diverse international markets. Tom's illustrious career is underscored by his exceptional expertise in global sourcing, international business development, navigating emerging markets, and skillfully negotiating intercultural agreements. His academic journey is equally impressive with a Master's in Applied Economic Sciences from the University of Antwerp, Belgium, and an MBA from the prestigious IESE Business School, showcasing a fusion of theoretical depth and practical acumen. Beyond his corporate leadership, Tom is recognized for his compelling public speaking engagements including a TEDx talk, where he passionately shares insights and experiences. His dedication to networking and the dissemination of knowledge further cements his influential presence in the global business landscape.
Marc Flo-Martín
Marc counts on over 20 years experience as a Sales and Business Development executive in the Printing & Packaging Industry, with a dynamic international career that has taken him to live in The Netherlands, France and, most notably, Brazil, where he lived for ten years. He is now based in his hometown Barcelona.
Providing consulting services related to Brazilian affairs, he is passionate about assisting companies to do business in Brazil, as well as supporting Brazilian companies expand into Europe.
He also takes great pleasure in sharing his expertise as a guest lecturer on cross-cultural management
